We’ve partnered with Lifeline to help tackle youth suicide in our region
We’re on a mission in 2018 to contribute.
At our events this year we will be talking about how we can contribute as individuals in our workplaces, in our relationships and in our community. However, we’re also interested to explore the ways we can contribute as a collective. By partnering with Lifeline Hunter Central Coast we are united in our contribution and as a community of young professionals, we can come together to make a difference.
We are pleased to announce that this year $1 of every ticket sold to hyp events will be donated to Lifeline Hunter Central Coast. Members can also make an additional contribution when purchasing their event tickets throughout the year.
Lifeline makes a great contribution to the lives of young people in our community through its 13 11 14 crisis support line, face to face counselling, training and other community suicide and crisis prevention services.
It is hard to ignore that suicide is the leading cause of death for Australians aged between 15 and 44.
When purchasing your next ticket to a hyp event please consider making an additional donation so that we can work together as a community to tackle this issue. We’ll be sure to share the final count at the end of the year with you. You can also contribute and score a bargain-priced, quality fashion or homeware item anytime by shopping at one of Lifeline’s local shops. All profits from the shops are reinvested back into Lifeline’s local suicide prevention services.
