HYP Director 2018
Commercial & Property Lawyer, Jenkins Legal Services
Sam is a country boy, having grown up and attended school in the small town of Coonamble in North-Western NSW. He later attended the University of Newcastle, graduating from a B.Comm (Finance) in 2010 and B.Laws (Hons) in 2012.
Sam is a commercial and property lawyer at Jenkins Legal Services, having moved back to Newcastle in 2016 to start in this position. He has been employed as a lawyer for over six years and is experienced in all aspects of commercial and property law, including: conveyancing, subdivisions, leasing, business sales and purchases, commercial transactions, construction and development contracts, franchising and liquor licencing. Sam has advised on complex multi-million dollar matters, including conveyances of retail and commercial properties and infrastructure construction contracts.
Sam was previously employed in a rural general practice law firm and, as a result, he has provided advice and practical legal solutions to clients in a broad range of legal matters. Sam’s background has also given him a strong understanding of rural legal issues.
In his spare time, Sam is a movie buff and restaurant hound. He also enjoys spending time with friends and family, including his wife and their two boisterous Labradors.
